Time is such a short thing

Seems I haven't had much time to crochet things lately. Nor update my blog. Oh noes! So here's an update :
I've been working on swap packages for swaps I'm in on Ravelry. I just finished the hat for the hat swap and added yarn and items for it. Package is going out on Monday. I got stuff for the cute 'n' quirky swap I'm in. Sending that off Monday as well. I have 3 more swaps to get done and out. Mid March is my deadline. Can I do it!? Haha. Lots of crocheting to do! Getting yarn and started isn't a problem. But I have no idea what to make. I've made so many hats and scarves lately, I want to make something different. Maybe a set of arm warmers or something...I'll figure it out. :3 Will have to get pictures up of the stuff I've made. I have a bad habit of making it and sending it out before getting a picture of it. Nothing else I'll update after they get it and upload their picture they take with their permission. So should be good! Today, I'm going to work on some arm warmers. We'll see how they turn out!

Hats Hats and more Hats!

I have been in a hat phase the past two weeks! Seems I can't crochet enough of them. I made one hat for a swap on Ravelry and since that day, I've made three more! They're just so fun and quick to make! Makes for a very good past time. I gave a slouch hat to my friend. I had made it for me but she loved it so much I just couldn't not give it to her. Looks adorable on her though. :3 The urban jungle hat, I wear all the time now. Cable hat is one I sent for the swap and the brimmed hat...eh, it's not my fave so hardly gets worn.

 My hair is different in the last 2 pictures. I bleached my hair a few days ago. XD

Completed Squares

There! Next few squares I fully completed! They have black around them and are ready to be put together. The black edging is being put to all the other squares as well. It's taking some time getting them figured out. But it's getting there!

I got the black around the remaining squares and put them in a decent order. The top two rows are attached together. The rest are just laying together. I'm missing a row as I still have squares I'm working on. But all in all, the blanket is coming together nicely. I have to attach the squares together still and then go around the entire thing. Plus there's the back to consider. I have to get fabric to attach to it. Once finished it'll be 5x6 and not the 5x5 shown in the picture. It's a decent size. I can wrap myself in it just enough. Will be warm! The 3D and Buzz square are for the business that my friends own. Wanted to incorporate it into the blanket. It's a 3D Animation/Game Design/Programming business so fitting for the blanket. As I'm almost done, props to whomever can name all the games I've worked into this. There's a lot of old school ones. It's been fun!

Squares yet again!

Another update with 4 more squares. Getting tired of squares yet? XD  Never ending!!!! I enjoy working on them. Good past time filler and it's relaxing and therapeutic in a way. Nothing like curling up on the couch with a hook in hand and working on something awesome. :3

Game Squares Away!!!

4 more squares! Update update. So many squares. Wouldn't of thought it'd taken this long nor that there were this many squares. Well...I knew how many there were but when you are working on them they seem endless. XD Wish I could upload them beside each other. But it won't let me so they are all centered and in a row. After this blanket, I will not want to make another square for a very long time. lol.

Long Overdo post

2 months late, but here goes. Sometime in September I was helping a friend with his cosplay costume. In one of my later posts there is a picture. A character from mortal combat. I finished what needed to be done and he wore it to AWA 2011. It was a success and he looked amazing. This is an update with a picture of him at the convention. He's with another of my friends inside one of the stores around the convention center.
